About Camp Tarabu

Camp Tarabu is Desiree's passion project, and her vehicle to bring about social change and empowerment via musical and artistic programming. Read below to find out more!

Tarabu, from Arabic and African languages, means "concert, music, and/or joy".  And that's what Camp Tarabu promises to its' community participants -- concert and performance opportunties, music enrichment programs and more that elicit joy! 

 Currently, we are based in the Inland Empire of Southern California, USA.  We have plans to offer virtual experiences, and to expand as far and wide as we can! 

 While Camp Tarabu has an emphasis on empowering youth from marginalized backgrounds, we are a family-friendly organization! We offer events and programming to various age groups. Stay tuned!
